This seemingly attractive search provider has its toolbar which, as well as the search engine, is developed by ReSoft LTD. Not surprisingly, Snap.do can become your home page when you download the toolbar from snapdoapp.com or as a bundled download. In either case, it is crucial to pay attention to the terms of the license agreement; otherwise, a potentially unwanted application can be easily installed and you will start to think that your computer has been infected. There are different sources that distribute the unwanted application alongside freeware, one of which is cnet.com. If your home page has been changed to snap.do, do not wait until you get provided with irrelevant hits and cause computer infections. Snap.do should be removed from the PC, and if you want to know why it is necessary to do so, you will soon find it out.test

Why should you remove Snap.do?

Once you agree to have the Snap.do toolbar installed and the home page changed, get ready to encounter various advertisements. You will find ads on the home page and you will be provided with irrelevant search results. Luckily, they will be marked as “sponsored” so you will have to be very attentive not to click the irrelevant hyperlinks which are supposed to be related to your search inquiry. If, for example, you are looking for a spyware removal program, you will find that the sponsored links are related to the presentation, installation or uninstall instructions of one particular application. Moreover, it has also been found that no matter what sponsored link you click on, before the website loads, you can see that the tab shows a completely different domain, which is infospace.com that returns search results from Google, Yahoo and Yandex. After a few seconds, the preferable website is loaded.  As to the Snap.do toolbar, it contains a search box and links to the most popular websites including eBay, Wikipedia, Facebook, Gmail, Twitter and so on. Even though the links may not pose any danger, you should keep in mind that the Snap.do search box as well as the search engine should not be trusted.
