What is SafetyNut?

The suspicious application SafetyNut is an integral part of the Movies Toolbar published by IAC Search and Media. Most computer users who have this browser extension running on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers, will find a SafetyNut folder under C:\Program Files\Movies Toolbar\ and in most cases they will be surprised about this. Remove the undesirable toolbar

Remove from Windows XP:

1. Open the Start menu and click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs and then click Change or Remove Programs.
3. Remove the undesirable software.

Remove from Windows Vista and Windows 7:

1. Navigate to the left of the Task Bar and click Start on the left.
2. Open the Control Panel menu and click Uninstall a program.
3. Locate the program you wish to get rid of, right-click it and select Uninstall.

Remove from Windows 8:

1. Tap the Windows key to access the Metro UI menu and right-click on the background.
2. Click All apps, open the Control Panel and then access the Uninstall a program utility.
3. Right-click the application you wish to delete and select Uninstall.
