System Check

What is System Check?

There are a few different types of rogue antispyware applications. Some pretend being antivirus programs while others try to be taken for computer optimization applications. System Check is exactly the kind of rogue that comes from the FakeHDD group of rogue antispyware. It is a direct clone of System Fix rogue application and from that we can only infer that System Check is just as dangerous as its predecessor. Usually, when System Check enters your computer, it performs a fake system scan, and fakes a System Control Panel window, where it displays fake information about your Computer, RAM Memory, System Drive and System Registry Status. System Check claims that all of the system components need to be repaired, because they have critical errors.

One of the most troubling things about System Check infection is that it hides your files, and then blames this onto other imaginary errors. When you cannot see your files, you surely are bound to believe that they are all gone for good, but don’t panic, because System Check does not have an ability to delete or remove your files for good. It simply turns on the Hide All feature in Control Panel, and in order to see your files again, you simply need to go to the Control Panel and unhide the files.

Apart from hiding your files, System Check also terrorizes you with a range of fake security notifications such as:

Critical Error
Hard drive critical error. Start a system diagnostics application to scan your hard disk for errors and performance problems.

Windows - Delayed Write Failed
Failed to save all the components for the file \System32\00004823. The file is corrupted or unreadable. This error may be caused by a PC hardware problem.

Windows detected a hard disk problem
A potential disk failure may cause loss of files, applications and documents store on the hard disk. It's highly recommended to scan and solve HDD problems before continue using this PC.

System Error
An error occurred while reading system files. Run a system diagnostic utility to check your hard disk drive for errors.

Critical Error
Hard drive critical error. Run a system diagnostic utility to check your hard disk drive for errors. Windows can't find hard disk space. Hard drive error.

Note: If some of these notifications were really true (such as the hard drive error, for example), you would NOT be able to boot your computer at all, thus they are obviously fake. If you allow this rogue to remain in your computer, it will continue sending fake messages, and slowing down your system. Eventually, it will try to push you into paying for its license which is absolutely useless and a total waste of money. Outsmart the cyber criminals behind this rogue and remove System Check from your computer as soon as you can. Do not hesitate to acquire a reliable computer safeguard program to do the job if necessary.

An effective way to remove System Check's irritating symptoms is entering an activation key, which will help you restore Windows functionality and will make System Check's removal much easier:

Activation key: 1203978628012489708290478989147

Alongside this activation key, you will also be requested to sign in with an email address. Whatever you do, do not put your actual email address, because you are likely to get flooded with never-ending spam emails. Instead simply type in a random address, like malware@malware, or any other combination, which would help you start removal processes as soon as possible.

Automatic System Check Removal

Removing System Check automatically is practical and easy. The reason why you should consider automatic removal is that it does not require any specific knowledge, and you do not need to look for files related to System Check – the antimalware program detects everything itself. Also, as you delete System Check automatically, you do not have to worry about the safety of your system files – there is no way that any of them would disappear. However, due to the fact that System Check meddles with your internet connection, there are two ways to terminate the rogue automatically:

1) You this code to “register” System Check: 1203978628012489708290478989147. After that all the fake security notifications will disappear and you will be able to access the Internet and download SpyHunter. Download the program, install it and launch a full system scan. SpyHunter will detect and delete System Check along with all of its files.

2) System Check might hide your desktop and Start Menu, and that makes it hard to load the Internet Explorer. In such a case you can either download SpyHunter on a healthy computer and transfer the installation file to the infected one via a USB flash drive, or simply start the internet browser via Start Menu. For that press Windows key and R key at the same time, and you will see the Run prompt appear. Enter “iexplore.exe” into the box and press Enter – this will load the Internet Explorer. Now you can download SpyHunter and remove System Check for good.

Manual System Check Removal

Carry on with the manual System Check removal only when you have extensive knowledge in computers and you are definitely sure of what you are doing. Removing System Check manually requires you to work with the registry entries and system files, so if you do not really know what is what, it is better to abandon this idea, because you might permanently damage your system. 1) Terminate these processes:2) Modify System Check’s Startup Registry Entries
Open Registry Editor by typing “regedit” into the Start menu search box or into the Run prompt box (to open Run prompt, go to Start --> Run). Click OK. Once Registry Editor loads, remove the following registry entries:
3) Once the registry is clean, terminate these files. Locate the files related to System Check and delete them for good.
