You can see their similarities by visiting Swift Record’s main website Theswiftrecord.com and Pathmaxx’s website Pathmaxx.net. Can you see the similarities? Even the information provided on both of these websites is identical. Another common trait of these websites that they share is the download button that doesn’t work.
However, it doesn’t mean that you can’t get infected with Swift Record elsewhere. The app is known to be distributed via freeware sharing websites such as Soft32.com Cnet.com, and so on. Freeware sharing websites bundle legitimate software with adware applications such as Swift Record in order to provide applications free of charge and keep their websites afloat.
