This source promotes “Zooms Start,” “Search by Zooms,” and “Musix.” We do not recommend installing any of these add-ons, especially if you are not willing to research them first. In general, the extension we are discussing is not represented in a very clear or straightforward manner. It doesn’t even seem to have an official downloader. Is this a reason enough to remove goDownload Search Plus? It might be, but we can provide you with other reasons. How does goDownload Search Plus work?
Although goDownload Search Plus is presented as a “powerful search engine,” the description along with the Chrome web store installer informs that the extension makes Yahoo the default search provider. So, that means that the extension itself doesn’t do much work at all. Unfortunately, because Yahoo is considered to be a reliable search engine, many users might decide that the extension itself can be trusted. Once installed, the extension adds a button to your browser, and when you click it, you can choose a different default provider. After you select the engine, when you type “d” into the address bar, tap the Tab/Space key to activate goDownload Search Plus, and then enter search keywords into the address bar of the web browser, search queries are redirected via searchalgo.com to search.yahoo.com or any other chosen search engine.
