FreebieForth is a program that promises free samples and coupons, but instead you get these annoying ads that show up as pop-ups while searching the Internet. Also, the application can open your browser windows and load suspicious websites that contain various surveys, commercial ads, and other offers. What does FreebieForth do?

As the application settles in, it creates Registry entries in DOM Storage key that is used to store Internet Explorer user’s data. Most likely, it will gather information about your browsing habits, e.g. search keywords, clicked ads, visited web pages, etc. Such information could be used to create a unique user’s profile that would help decide what ads could be tempting to the user. It is a very important process, if the adware’s creators receive money from every click.

Apparently, some of the pop-ups could redirect you to websites that belong to a third party and some of them might be unreliable. For example, if the site’s Privacy Policy states that the website can collect sensitive data about its visitors, your privacy could be violated. Also, there is a possibility that these websites could have harmful content, such as viruses, Trojans, and so on. Where does FreebieForth come from?

There are two main scenarios that could explain how this adware settled into your computer. First one is that the program could have appeared as a suggestion in your search results and as you clicked the link, it redirected you to the official FreebieForth website where an installer is available to download.
