The application promises to find the best deals out there, helping you save money when you hop from one online store to the other. Alas, that is only the pretty façade that has nothing to do with the actual program. This application will display a lot of commercial ads, and only a few of them will lead you to reliable websites. Unlike most of the programs from the same group, DelightfulDeals actually has an official website. You can access it via delightfuldeals.org. However, the site is nothing but a scam, devised to make you think that this program can deliver. The reality is that it cannot do anything, aside from promoting third-party ads.

It is not surprising that DelightfulDeals belongs to the Multiplug family of adware applications. It is just another version of Awesome-Promos, BuyTheApp, TwistTinker, and many other programs from the same group we have encountered before. Subsequently, it means that the application employs the same distribution methods as its predecessors, and it usually comes bundled with additional freeware via the Amonetize, InstallRex, and Vittalia installers.

We have mentioned already that the main purpose of this application is to display commercial advertisements. DelightfulDeals will track your online activity to find out your likes and preferences. Although it cannot collect personally identifiable information, like your banking logins and/or passwords, it can still get a pretty good idea of what you usually search for online. Thus, when you start seeing multiple pop-ups on your browser, do not be surprised to see that most of them are related to your most recent searches.

By displaying ads with the content relevant to you, DelightfulDeals tries to make you click them and thus help the people behind the application make money. The only problem, however, is that the program does not review the links in its ads, so if cyber criminals decide to take advantage of the program’s advertising network to promote their malicious content, you could be only a click away from a serious malware infection.

How do I remove DelightfulDeals?

It goes without saying that you have to nip the problem in the bud if you want to avoid severe consequences of a malware infection. Thus, the thing you have to do right now is remove DelightfulDeals from your computer.
