DealDay is said to offer you the best deals of the day, but the reality is very different. We encourage you not to install any applications such as this one, and remove it once you notice its presence. DealDay falls into the category of adware programs. Where does DealDay come from?

Most adware applications tend not to feature any information about its developers or publishers. DealDay is quite an exception since it has been published by ChannelPartners, but that is about it. We were not able to dig up any additional information about this publisher. For all we know, it might just be fake. The program used to have a website at Dealday.com, but it is currently down. We are not sure if the application was distributed via the website, most likely yes, because no examples of this adware application being bundled with other software were found. So, at least for now the application is not distributed, but it might still be active, and show unreliable commercial advertisements.

How does DealDay work?

The developers are turning their backs on traditional adware applications that work as browser extensions, because browsers such as Google Chrome tend to block adware applications as soon as their experts detect an analyze them. So, alternatively the application runs as a process, which can be found by opening the Task Manager and selecting the processes tab. If you do not know whether your computer has become infected with DealDay, you should look for a process called dealday.exe, but you can also find it in your list of Programs in the Control Panel.
