1. Open Chrome and simultaneously tap Alt+F.
2. Select Settings, move to On Startup and click Set pages.
3. Overwrite/remove the set URL and click OK.
4. Move to Appearance, click Change and repeat step 3.
5. Under Search click the drop-down menu and select a new search provider.
6. Click Manage search engines and locate the URL of the undesirable search provider.
7. Click X to remove it from the list and hit OK.
