What is DaleSearch?
DaleSearch is a browser hijacker which you should be extremely cautious about. As research shows, the threat can access Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers using illicit channels. For example, the threat could come bundled with seemingly reliable software. You could also be tricked into installing the hijacker onto the computer yourself because schemers know the all of the tricks to fool you. What happens once the hijacker is slipped onto the computer? The most prominent change that you will notice is the home page modification. Have you found that the home page of all existing browsers has been switched to dalesearch.com? This is not something that you can just ignore, and DaleSearch removal should be performed as soon as possible.
How does DaleSearch act?
The malicious DaleSearch acts illegally because no program is allowed to change your computer or browser settings without your own knowledge. What is the point behind the unauthorized reconfigurations? Cyber criminals have set out to force you into using the suspicious search engine which should not be trusted with authentic web searches at any point. Unfortunately, the search engine does not look suspicious at all, with such search modules as Web, Images, Videos, Mail, Facebook, Weather, Maps or Calendar attached just above the search box. According to Anti-Spyware-101.com researchers, the suspicious dalesearch.com is linked to Delta Search, and so it is likely that the questionable search tool will be installed onto your web browsers after you install plugins or PC applications.
If you search the web using DaleSearch, you could be exposed to unreliable links. Even if you do not interact with the presented websites, you must note that one click is enough for schemers to drop web cookies onto your browsers. This is the reason why you should manage all cookies yourself. Schemers could use cookies to collect private information and data which later on could be used to flood you with alluring but misleading advertisements. Therefore, as soon as you discover that your home page and search provider have been modified, we suggest you ignore any pop-up advertisements, refrain from searching the web, and immediately install malware removal software.
