Where does Crazylowprice come from?
Crazylowprice comes from the Multiplug adware family. This application is just another clone of such annoying adware apps as EnormouSales, SpaceCouponApp, NiceOffers, TremendousCoup, and so on. All of these applications are based on the JustPlugIt engine, and Crazylowprice is of no exception. Programs from this group are also known to randomize their titles upon the installation, but even if the title is capitalized at random, you can still recognize that it is Crazylowprice or any other program from the family.
Quite obviously, Crazylowprice does not have a direct distribution source. This application spreads via the InstallRex, Vittalia, and Amonetize installers with such potential security threats as the EZDownloader potentially unwanted program, and such browser hijackers as MyStartSearch or Websearch.goodforsearch.info. This only proves that you need to remove far more unwanted (and potentially dangerous!) programs from your system, and Crazylowprice is not the only problem on-board.
What does Crazylowprice do?
The application itself functions as a browser extension. It means that upon the installation Crazylowprice adds an extension to your browser that is used to track your online activity. Crazylowprice monitors what websites you visit and what queries you enter into your default search engine. Once it has enough information collected, the application starts showing commercial ads that are supposed to redirect you to online stores that offer you the goods you want for a lower price.
Unfortunately, that is not how it really works. Crazylowprice may display commercial ads, but they might not contain reliable links. For all it’s worth, Crazylowprice is only interested in increasing the traffic for affiliated websites because it helps its creators make money through the pay-per-click system. Although that is not something illegal, in the worst case scenario it could lead to a malware infection, so you should prevent that from happening by removing Crazylowprice at once.
How do I remove Crazylowprice?
It is not complicated to uninstall Crazylowprice because you can do it via the Control Panel. You will also need to delete the extension from your browser manually, but that can be easily accomplished if you follow the instructions below. To be absolutely sure that your computer will no longer be plagued by potential threats, do not forget to acquire a licensed antispyware tool.
