LuDaShi

What is LuDaShi?

LuDaShi is one of those programs that probably enter your computer unexpectedly, and then you think you have been infected with malware. However, this program is not a malicious infection. It is a legitimate application that has an official website and can be downloaded directly. Why would we have a problem with it, then? The point is that this application could be installed on your PC without you noticing it. This happens quite often with potentially unwanted programs, and if a program enters your system uninvited, there is no reason to keep it. Thus, you should remove LuDaShi from your PC, too.test

Where does LuDaShi come from?

Since the application is legitimate and it has not been detected by security programs, it is clear there is nothing wrong about it. Also, the program has an official website at ludashi.com where you can download it directly. On the other hand, we doubt you would do that because the application is entirely in Chinese, and unless you speak the language, it would be really hard to utilize the program.

Then you might wonder how come LuDaShi is on your system if you do not speak Chinese, and you did not even enter the ludashi.com website. Well, potentially unwanted programs often have more than just one distribution method, and this is clearly the case here. The program definitely comes bundled with freeware, and most of those programs are also Chinese apps like Iqiyi or Rmrili. You must have accessed a website that had something in common with these applications, and you triggered the software download.

Sometimes the software bundle might also be available on file-sharing websites, and if that is the case, you may lose the chance to avoid installing LuDaShi if you breeze through the installation process. Needless to say, installation wizards often contain basic steps that can be applied to all programs, but sometimes they may also display information about additional (bundled) programs that come along. They may ask you whether you want to install these additional programs and if you skip these steps, potentially unwanted software will be installed on your system automatically.

What does LuDaShi do?

LuDaShi is supposed to be a system optimization tool, but its menu is entirely in Chinese. Thus, even if the program is reliable, there is no way to use it (a translator would not help here). What’s more, the application could be associated with third-party software that displays commercial advertisements and other unreliable content. Of course, we are not trying to say that LuDaShi exposes you to potential threats, but some freeware applications often get involved in commercial advertising to support their development costs, and that opens a lot of opportunities for malicious exploitation.

So what can we make of it: This program is not useful to you unless you speak Chinese, and it could be associated with unreliable third parties. In the long run, it could result in a variety of computer security issues, and you most certainly do not want that. Hence, the best way out of this situation is to delete the program.

How do I remove LuDaShi?

This program has an entry in the list of installed programs, so it is possible to remove it via Control Panel. However, its uninstaller wizard is also entirely in Chinese, so the removal process might be longer or more complicated than the usual. Do not feel discouraged by it. This program is not an immediate system threat, so you can try out various combinations before you delete it for good.

Also, while you are at it, it would be a great idea to scan your system with the SpyHunter free scanner. Since LuDaShi most likely arrived bundled, you must have installed more unwanted (and maybe even dangerous!) apps on your PC. It goes without saying that you have to delete these potential threats with no questions asked.

If you do have computer security-related questions, however; you can always leave us a comment below. It is not just about this program; you have to make sure that your PC is protected against more dangerous threats that could try entering the system in future. Thus, be sure that your PC is safeguarded against anything the Internet might throw at you.
