Kriminalpolisenheten Virus

What is Kriminalpolisenheten Virus?

Kriminalpolisenheten Virus, or Svensk National Bureau of Investigation Virus, is a malicious ransomware which Anti-Spyware-101.com researchers rate as a critically dangerous Windows threat. The infection is presented through a screen-locking notification; however, the real threat that you ought to remove is the Urausy Trojan. Have you heard of this clandestine threat before? As research shows, the infection can utilize drive-by download scams to enter the targeted computer which, as a rule, is not guarded by reliable, up-to-date spyware detection and removal software. The Trojan is guarded by rootkit components which may conceal the presence of highly dangerous components. If the infection is kept as a secret, soon enough it could activate an irritating lock-down with a more annoying alert. Note that only if you delete Kriminalpolisenheten Virus from the system will you be able to remove this obnoxious screen-locking notification.test

How does Kriminalpolisenheten Virus act?

Dangerous, clandestine, surreptitiously running ransomware infections are spread all over the web; however, schemers may adjust the threats accordingly to the targeted countries. For example, if you live in Sweden, you also need to beware of Rikspolisstyrelsen Virus, Den svenska polisen it-säkerhet Virus, Din Dator är Blockerad Virus and similar ransomware. There is no doubt that this trick is meant to fool more Window users into paying the fines (or ransom) which are represented through the screen-locking alert:

VIKTIGT! Din dator blev blockerad av säkerhetsskäl. Detaljer ansivas.

Artikel 215 i Brottsbalken av Konungariket Sverige föreskriver en påföljd på upp till SEK 1.000.000 kronor och/eller fängelse från 5 och 8 år.

Du behöver betala SEK 1000 kronor i påföljd.

As you can see, the misleading accusations are represented in Swedish, the requested fine is in Swedish Kronor, and the alert appears to have been issued by the Swedish law enforcement departments. We can guarantee you that all of the credentials which you are introduced to have been attached illegally. If the Police caught you performing such illegal activity as the distribution of child pornography, a criminal case would immediately be issued against you. Moreover, you would never be asked to pay fines via unreliable money transfer systems. Note that some ransomware are even known as the Ukash Virus or Paysafecard Virus because schemers have employed these systems numerous of times.
