What is Babylon Search?
Babylon Search is a search engine that is part of the Babylon browser plugins, add-ons and other application developed by Babylon. Babylon mainly focuses on providing online translation function, and the Babylon dictionary can be downloaded at babylon.com. Along with the dictionary you can choose whether you want to install Babylon Toolbar and change your home page to Babylon Search (isearch.babylon.com). However, the problem is that Babylon Search often comes with commercial advertisements that may be and even expose you to malware infections. Thus, it is highly recommended to remove Babylon Search from your system.
How does Babylon-Delta Search get in?
There are two main ways for Babylon to get into your computer. You either downloaded it at babylon.com or at any other third party website (such as Cnet and others). As it has been mentioned above, during the installation, you can choose whether you want to change your home page and default search engine to Babylon. However, a great number of users simply skip this step and end up with the default version of the program on their computers. As a result, the home page is changed to Babylon Search, and although it is not a sign of malicious computer infection, you would still be better off without it.

Due to the fact that Babylon Search may be related to other third party applications, the search engine and home page modification may expose you to various malware infections.
