Esurf.biz

What is Esurf.biz?

A reliable search tool would never invade your operating system uninvited, and Esurf.biz is one of those tools that can slither in without your permission and circumvent your attempts to get rid of it. If you have installed this search tool yourself, you can call it an unreliable piece of software, but if it was installed without your permission, you need to treat it as a malicious browser hijacker. According to our researchers at Anti-Spyware-101.com, this hijacker is not the only threat that could attack your operating system. In fact, it is the clone of such infamous hijackers as foryourweb.net, your-home-page.net, and yourwebing.com, and it is a matter of “luck” which of these threats takes over your web browsers. Fortunately, these threats are not unbeatable, and we can show you how to remove them.test

How does Esurf.biz work?

Once installed, Esurf.biz will add “http://Esurf.biz/?ssid=1439453513” to the Target of your browser shortcut. This is done silently, and computer users are rarely aware of this feature. This is why most computer users cannot find a way to get rid of this hijacker. Even if you install this search tool yourself, it will act in the same way, and you will have to fix the Target issue to eliminate the hijacker from your browsers. Unfortunately, many computer users give up easily, choosing to keep the hijacker on their browsers, which is a huge mistake. Even though this hijacker provides links to eBay, Twitter, LinkedIn, Amazon, Yahoo, Pinterest, and Facebook – all reliable services – and represents the search results of Google, this search tool is unreliable and unpredictable.

Have you noticed that Esurf.biz does not provide an End User License Agreement, Privacy Policy, or other important information? This is a sign that the creator of this hijacker is hiding something. Even if this is not the case, you cannot trust this program because you do not know its intentions. It would be naive to think that this free search tool was created without a hidden agenda. When researching this search provider, we have found that it displays interstitial ads. If you notice any kind of advertising, ignore it because it could be misleading and even malicious. Of course, you should get rid of the hijacker to ensure that these potentially unreliable ads do not appear again.

How to delete Esurf.biz

There is no doubt that Esurf.biz is an unreliable search provider, regardless of how it has entered your operating system. Of course, if it has been installed without your permission, you should realize that this hijacker is malicious much quicker. Unfortunately, this hijacker usually comes packaged with malicious installers of programs that also require removal. If you want to get rid of all of these infections at the same time, install a legitimate security tool that can eliminate them automatically. If you decide to tackle every single one of malicious programs manually, delete Esurf.biz first. 1. In your instruction is says "Identify the infected browser shortcut." I do not have a "shortcut". This webpage comes up automatically when I open Internet Explorer even though I have Yahoo set as my webpage.

    • Hey Dennis,

You misunderstood us. By saying "browser shortcut", we mean the one that you have on your desktop. Right click it and follow the guidelines.

  2. thank-you for helping me get esurf off my homepage. however it is still on my system. how do I get rid of it completely? it's apparently not recognized by mcafee because I just ran a full scan.
