Contenko is very aggressive and intrusive. It produces pop-out and banner ads every time you load a page, and it is very tenacious. It apparently downloaded itself when I went to an infected website, and it went right through Windows Firewall and MSSE. It set my home page to Google and disabled my ability to change to another home page. The only tool I found that would even detect it was Spy Hunter, and it cleaned Contenko out completely.
