dosearch had been a nightmare. I tried everything, including purchasing a search software that did not help.

It doesn't work. I have dosearches infesting Chrome, but none of the listen files is in the Register. Neither Kaspersky nor Spybot find it, but Spyhunter claims to., However, most of these antivirus progs seem to be scams as far as I can see. I have already paid for Spybot and Kaspersky and I can't afford any others.

Hello Jayesh,

Thanks for good words. In this case, there are "dosearche" leftovers in your registry. Try this:

Click Start, type regedit into search bar. In the registry editor navigate to Edit->Find. Type dosearches , remove everything that's related with it. Be careful because removing not related keys in registry can harm your computer.

Another solution is to scan your computer with Spyhunter and after scan, manually remove all files related with dosearches.

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your kind info regarding the dosearch removal actions. This was really helpful. I tried everything that you have mentioned. It did remove lots of malware and trojans and many more enemies, But the home page still showed up with dosearch.com site. And so I reinstalled the google chrome browser and that is working fine. But I still have problem with Internet Explorer. When I click "Use Default" option in "General" tab in "Internet Options", the "Home Page" still gets filled automatically with "http://www.dosearches.com/?utm_source=b&utm_medium=smt&utm_campaign=eXQ&utm_content=hp&from=smt&uid=WDCXWD3200BEVS-26VAT0_WD-WXL0E892391823918&ts=1381379679" and which means there is still something about this dosearch that is not yet removed from my pc. How do I remove this and make the use of the "Use Default" button normal as it was before? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
Kind regards
Jayesh
